The Brisbane Sportfishing Club Inc. was formed in 1971. It caters to trailer boat and landbased anglers who fish for fun. Our members practice both catch and release, as well as taking home a feed of fish, but we encourage limiting your catch, rather than catching your limit. As many of our members own trailer boats, we enjoy travelling to a variety of different locations to fish for a wide variety of different species. Mastering different styles of fishing is one of the challenges and rewards of sportfishing.

Club Meetings:

We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at the Brisbane Sixteen Foot Skiff Sailing Club, Vic Lucas Park, 126 Quay St, Bulimba at 7.30pm. Guests are welcome to attend and there is no entry fee. Each meeting usually has a feature speaker or special event which is advertised in the newsletter
