How The Club Runs
The club meets on the third Wednesday of each month
at the Brisbane Sixteen Foot Skiff Sailing Club at the Vic Lucas
Park, Quay Street Bulimba at 7.30pm. During these meetings members
and guests discuss various topics relating to our sport. Others
take the form of film nights, practical workshops or demonstrations.
The organisational work in the club is done by the committee at
a separate committee meeting.
The Committee also meets at the Brisbane Sixteen
Foot Skiff Sailing Club on the fourth Wednesday of each month promptly
at 7:30 pm. Any member is welcome to attend as an observer.
The committee is elected by the membership at
the clubs Annual General meeting in July. Extraordinary General
Meetings can be called during the year if there is a need. (You
can refer to the Constitution of the club at any meeting by reading
the copy that is with the Claim forms etc at each meeting.) The
committee reports to the club at the general meeting through the
Annual Report.
